WBME, which incorporating Fit-Out Middle East, was set to run at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 9-10 November but has now been postponed until further notice.
Elsewhere, UBM's Gulf Landscaping 2009 will now be co-located with Interiors UAE and take place from 29-31 March 2010 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
"[A recently published story] is full of inaccuracies and doesn't have any resemblance to what and why we have made the decision to postpone these events until next year. They are not cancelled, merely postponed," said UBM group director, Andy Braid.
"There are some exciting developments ahead with both products. WBME has some developments that will significantly enhance this product for 2010 but we are not in a position to announce these yet but will do so in the near future. It is not the doom and gloom [that has been suggested]."
