UBC Media to sell The A-List and Fresh 40 radio charts

LONDON - Hit40UK has awarded UBC Media the contract to sell advertising and sponsorship for the commercial radio chart show formats 'The A-List' and 'Fresh 40'.

The contract, previously with GCap Media, will move to UBC on October 1.

UBC will integrate the charts with its entertainment news sales offering into a lifestyle and entertainment sales unit.

Simon Cole, chief executive of UBC Media, said: "These are significant contract wins for us, and further endorsement of the success of our network radio sales division.

"Combining our entertainment news network with 'The A-List' and 'Fresh 40' provides advertisers with a great opportunity to reach over 11m adults within compelling and exciting programming."

'The A-List' has recently been sponsored by drinks brand Baileys and 'Fresh 40' by the government's drugs advice service Frank.
