According to a report on Business Insider, the FTC’s antitrust body has requested information from UberMedia, the software developer that creates apps for Twitter.

Twitter allows third-party developers to create apps that allow users to access the service on desktop and mobile devices.

Last month, it bought one of its main app developers, Tweetdeck, for $40m, which UberMedia was reportedly in talks to buy previously.

The FTC and Twitter are both not commenting on the reports.
