
The event offered Surrey fans, local residents and workers the chance to meet players – including Surrey stars Rory Hamilton-Brown, Mark Ramprakash, Chris Tremlett, Andre Nel and Gareth Batty – ask questions, get autographs and photographs and try their hand at batting or bowling.
'Lions Loose', as the event was called, also gave Keith Prowse a chance to promote its corporate tickets. According to the hospitality provider, twenty20 has changed corporate buying for cricket, meaning clients don't have to take a day off work, but can instead meet in the space of few hours.
