Tutssel to take senior creative <br>role at Leo Burnett USA

LONDON - Mark Tutssel, the joint executive creative director of Leo Burnett London, has been appointed as vice-chairman and deputy chief creative officer of the US agency.

His departure to Leo Burnett USA in Chicago will see his partner Nick Bell become sole executive creative director in London.

Tutssel, 43, will report to chairman and CCO Cheryl Berman and will officially take up his post in the US on January 1 2002.

He joined Leo Burnett in London 15 years ago and during his time there he has won five Cannes Gold Lions, as well as the Grand Prix at the Cannes International Advertising Festival in 1997. His clients have included McDonald's, Mercedes-Benz, United Airlines and Gordon's Gin.

He said, "Cheryl and I share a complementary skill set. We also have a wealth of talent here. Working in tandem, we are determined to keep pushing for work that is 'best in the world, bar none' across every client and every brand."

Leo Burnett is part of the B|Com3 Group. It was founded in 1935 and now has billings of over £5.7bn.
