Turquoise expands services at TV branding division

LONDON - Clients of branding consultancy Turquoise will be offered a more effective and efficient service with the expansion of the company's television branding division.

The enhancement means the department will now be able to offer a complete service from creative development to production and delivery of the finished product.

It is also expected to bring welcome improvements in the development of title sequences, seasonal idents and programme specific promotions, while ensuring any newly created brands are implemented accurately and consistently on-screen.

Since Ian Humphrey was appointed to head the new department earlier this year, the company has made a significant investment in cost-saving equipment and software.

Linda Garcia, managing director of Turquoise, said: "Ian's skills have been instrumental in helping us to build a robust on-screen production offering. With greater investment to provide the additional tools and skills required, we are looking forward to bringing in significant new business in this area."

The new equipment is already being put to good use, with the onscreen department working on a new title sequence for pan-Middle East "infotainment" TV channel Al Aan and a series of Ramadan seasonal sequences for Saudi TV.
