The Cartoon Network show features a character called Ben 10, who has the ability to transform himself into different alien characters using a watch called the Omnitrix.
The £1.19 Ben 10 app replicates the effect with a watch that allows users to scroll through aliens such as Ripjaw, Stinkfly and Ben Wolf.
Once a character has been selected, children can hold the iPhone over their mouth and talk, shout, laugh, scream or sing, while the mouth of their choice moves in time with the sounds they make.
The roleplay effect is brought to life by original animation and sound effects taken directly from the show.
The app is a joint collaboration between Turner Broadcasting and digital design studio, Ustwo, which launched an unbranded app called MouthOff using the same technology earlier this year as both a free and paid app
The agency said the app, which sells at £0.59 for the paid version, has received more than 40,000 downloads since launch.
A spokeswoman for Turner Broadcasting said the move, which marks its first foray into the app market, will not be the company's last, with other branded apps based on its properties also "in the pipeline".
Joe Braman commercial director, mobile, digital & DVD at Turner Broadcasting, said: "As the stellar boys brand of the moment, Ben 10 was an obvious choice for our first iPhone app, but we didn't want it to be something we did just for the sake of it.
"Ustwo's app really stood out to us in terms of innovation, creativity, usability and longevity, the key components for a successful app."
