Despite the grating techno soundtrack and hammy CGI, this ad is unutterably dull. In an attempt to appear futuristic, the creative instead looks as dated as an 80s sci-fi flick. Would the ad seem as bad if it hadn’t been plugged as a ‘radical redesign’ of a Clarks shoe? Yes. Yes, it would.
