New appointments at the division include Matt Dacey, formerly O2's head of content, as deputy to Andrea Kilbourne, the director of mobile and music.

Sarah Vickery has been hired as business development and strategy director. She was formerly in the same role at Hachette Filipacchi.

Internet activities have been divided between lifestyle, led by former Zoo publisher Dan Cotton, and specialist, led by former Car publisher Terri Westlake.

A managing director of television is to be recruited, with the job to be advertised in the next few weeks. Music television, including Q and The Hits, is led by Dave Young, Scott Monks, Lucy Favell and Darren Khan, while other TV properties including FHM TV are led by Steve Buckley.
