Trinity Mirror's Scottish titles launch recruitment site

LONDON – A joint venture formed by 40 of Trinity Mirror's Scottish newspaper titles is behind the launch of a pan-Scottish recruitment site called Scotcareers.

goes online today bringing together jobs from Trinity Mirror's Scottish titles including the Daily Record and Sunday Mail and papers from the Scottish & Universal Newspapers' stable of local paid-for and free newspapers.

These include the Hamilton Advertiser, Ayrshire Post, Perthshire

Advertiser, Stirling Observer, Dumfries and Galloway Standard, as well as titles in Dumbarton, West Lothian and the Paisley Daily Express.

The site will feature a range of vacancies and training opportunities from all sectors of the Scottish economy, employment news, events and updates on major developments offering recruitment opportunities.

The site will also include input from specialist publications such as Scottish Recruitment and Scottish Business Insider as well as the Metro and Glaswegian titles.

Denise West, advertisement director of the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail, said: "The new site will be totally interactive and will give job seekers thousands of vacancies to choose from. This collaborative approach means we can offer advertisers an unbeatable online recruitment package."
