Two hyperlocal sites will launch in the Coventry Telegraph's circulation area in April, drawing on user-generated content including readers' blogs and photos.
A Trinity Mirror spokesman said: "We're looking at rolling it out to Coventry in April with two sites there and more to follow.
"We're obviously looking at further hyperlocal initiatives across the Trinity Mirror business."
The group launched its hyperlocal initiative last April and now has sites covering all 23 'TS' postcode areas in the Teesside Gazette distribution area.
The move was praised by the Association of Online Publishers, which awarded Gazette Communities best consumer website and best online community at the annual AOP Awards last year.
The initiative also won regional website of the year at the Press Gazette Regional Press Awards.
Last summer, Trinity Mirror began "reverse publishing" free newspapers -- filling pages with content gathered from the hyperlocal sites. However, it said it was too early to tell whether this approach would also be applied in Coventry.
In its end-of-year results, published last month and covering the 12 months to the end of December 2007, Trinity Mirror said digital revenues rose 35.6% to £34.3m. Digital revenues now account for 3.7% of the group's total revenues and 6.7% of advertising revenues.
