Travelodge said the project, which takes place this autumn, would be designed to coincide with a number of marketing initiatives it had planned for the end of the year.
The chain, which has 279 locations across the UK and serves an estimated 6m customers a year, said it was vital it maintained accurate records of who its users were.
Datalytics, which also handles accounts for Emap Consumer Media and The Royal Marsden Cancer 北京赛车pk10, said its role would be to give Travelodge a better understanding of its consumer habits.
Stephen Welham, interactive marketing manager at Travelodge, explained: "The need to understand our customers is vital. Datalytics demonstrated an excellent approach to data segmentation that we could translate across all areas of our business."
