Kinetic Worldwide, WPP's out-of-home specialist, has appointed radio executive Richard Jacobs as its UK marketing director. Jacobs joins from Real & Smooth Radio, where he has been the head of commercial strategy for four years. ()

Book publisher HarperCollins UK has unveiled the new line-up of its comms team following the departure of UK and international group comms director Siobhan Kenny. Susanna Frayn has been promoted to comms director and will report to director of people John Athanasiou. Sam Missingham joins from The Bookseller in the newly created role of head of events and James Lewis has been promoted to comms content officer. ()

Former FT Group global comms chief Emma Gilpin-Jacobs is to take the role of director of comms for deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg on 2 December. ()
