Merlin Entertainments has appointed Nicky Marsh as the marketing director of its "midway" division to lead its short-stay attractions, including waxworks Madame Tussauds. ()

Moneysupermarket.com's marketing director David Osborne is leaving the business, and will be replaced by Tesco's brand communications director Kenny Jacobs. ()

Apple’s head of retail John Browett and iOS software chief Scott Forstall are to leave the company. ()

East Coast Mainline, the Government-owned rail operator, has poached former First Direct head of brand and communications Natalie Cowen to head up its marketing. ()

IPC Inspire has appointed Ellie Miles to the role of senior marketing and events manager for music brands NME and Uncut, following the departure of the head of marketing for its music titles, Tim Pearson, to Graphite. ()

UM London has promoted Nick Heales, deputy head of press, to the position of head of press, replacing Eve Samuel-Camps who has moved to become group business director. ()

The O2 arena has appointed for a new director of comms role as the venue goes up for sale. Jeremy King, currently editor of Haymarket titles Event and Media Week, will take up the role in December. ()
