The IAB has launched a 'Talent Taskforce' to educate graduates through a University Roadshow, which will target 10 universities that provide specialist digital courses.
The taskforce will present research, case studies and share knowledge with students and provide guidance to those looking to enter the digital sector. The aim is to increase the employability of graduates as well as providing a talented workforce for the digital industry.
BIMA, which already has a Digital Schools Challenge in place, will join with the IAB in its attempt to prepare students for work in the UK's digital marketing sector.
The IAB's taskforce will meet monthly and plans to extend the initiative beyond the University Roadshow. Members of the taskforce include AKQA, Circus Street, Emarketeers, Group M and Haymarket (owner of Revolution).
