This follows the news last month that Touch Associates had completed an investment in agency DBMT to become a minority shareholder in the business.
James Digital was set up by James Matthewson more than 20 years ago and now Matthewson and his team will join Touch Associates under the banner Touch Real-Time, which will operate as the digital arm of Touch Associates.
Mike Ford, director at Touch, said: "James Digital has been serving some fantastic brands and clients such as Richemont, Canon Europe and Zoetis. Bringing James Digital into Touch provides me with a much wider support group, as well as the opportunity to work with a very exciting group of new clients, not only at Touch, but also with David Bottrill and his team at DBMT, which was a recently-announced partnership with us."
