Freeman, who has now taken up the position of chairman at Mayridge, said: "The campaign approach we use for creating event solutions along with the integration of event technology into our proposition has resulted in us refocusing and restructuring the business so that we are best prepared to serve the needs of our clients.
"The appointment of Laura as group MD makes total sense to help us realise our ambitions for the future growth of the company. She has a wealth of experience and credibility across the whole events industry and with her expertise in event technology brought to the group through Blondefish, she is ideally placed to drive our future growth."
Freeman was managing director for 12 years and will now be involved in other projects for the group.
"I’m very excited about the future for Mayridge as we continue to innovate and strengthen our portfolio of event services and client engagement solutions," said Moody. "We have an exceptional team of talented individuals and I very much look forward to working with them on the future evolution of the business."
