Tell me more… Ticketing experts The Ticket Factory has partnered with digital marketing agency Fast Web Media to use this service recently as part of its own work. The software will add another layer to The Ticket Factory’s advertising campaigns, enabling the company to use weather information to optimise when and where adverts are displayed.
For example, if the product you are selling is a water pistol, you will find that searches for the term ‘water pistols’ increase dramatically when the weather is warm and sunny, but decrease when it isn’t as pleasant. WeatherFIT allows users to choose to simultaneously display adverts for water pistols in areas where the weather is sunny and pause them in areas where it is not.
Cost? Basic price per month is £95 for local weather services, as well as a £190 per month package available for global. Data analysis is priced at £995 for a one-off cost.
