What is it?
A large interactive board, prototyped as ‘Storytelling through playful interactions’, that springs to life when touched.
Tell me more…
The technology was first used by Portuguese childrenswear brand Zippy. The screen-printed panel featured a number of the retailer’s brightly-coloured characters that acted as trigger points for sound through speakers.
Dalziel and Pow demonstrated how the conducive ink technology can be used to activate digital animations – a mixture of informative and quirky content, from product information to a cartoon of chasing ducks – as well as projection mapping and sounds. The agency worked with Bare Conductive and Ototo to devise the Storytelling product.
Cost?
On application – the prototype can be engineered for bespoke orders.
