Charity Dog’s Trust has decided that pets also need to feel the love this Valentine’s Day and has devised a pop-up diner for dog lovers to treat their furry friends. The MicroChippy eatery, devised in collaboration with hotdog and champagne restaurant Bubbledogs, will be open over Valentine’s weekend and serve a dog-friendly hot dog for canine guests. The space will also be kitted out with dog bean bags and non-slip bowls.
NFL UK transformed The Shard into the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Monday (1 February), in celebration of Super Bowl week. , with a number 50 then appearing to start a countdown to one, signifying 50 years of the Super Bowl.
Nike has announced its plans to host a new global running series from 13 March, with 20 different cities on the itinerary. Women of all fitness levels are invited to take part in the events, which form part of the NikeWomen Victory Tour. They include 10km and marathon Nike+ Run Club (NRC) races as well as five-hour long Nike+ Training Club (NTC) tour training experiences.
Britvic brand Robinsons has installed a number of Squeeze Me squash stations at workplaces throughout the UK, in a bid to encourage people to drink more water. The drinks stations can hold three bottles of the brand's low calorie Squash’d portable product, and Robinsons plans to visit more than 1,000 workplaces as part of the activity.
The newly-appointed Milk Tray man - firefighter Patrick McBride - was tasked with delivering a box of the chocolates to a UK resident. However this was no ordinary delivery, as he took to the Thames on a speedboat before being picked up in a car to make his delivery to the chosen recipient, Claire Smith.
