Winter Wonderland opening
Images from the opening of Winter Wonderland topped the charts as our most read experiential story this week. The annual Christmas celebration at Hyde Park features a pop-up from clothing retailer Regatta, an alpine-style pop-up by Jägermeister and a cocktail bar from drinking establishment Mr Fogg’s.
The Kraken Black Spiced Rum is breaking with tradition by opening a pop-up shop selling real black Christmas trees. Open for one week from 8 December, the Think Ink Pines shop will also feature a bar with five specially created cocktails made with the brand’s rum to be served. Other black items such as mistletoe and wreaths will also be available.
Lush Cosmetics' Gorilla Perfumes brand will host a series of scented, Christmas-themed film screenings from 5 December through to Christmas Eve. The screenings will take place on the lower floor of the company's Oxford Street store. The space will be transformed into a retro cinema with the help of StudioXag.
Domino’s pizza fans have the chance to win a limited-edition physical order button in a social media-led competition. The button will enable them to order their meals with the press of a button thanks to the use of a special app, with the first phase of buttons to be released this month.
Converse is set to host a series of free music events in order to connect with fans. The Converse Rubber Tracks London will include six events, to be held from 4-6 December. There will be performances, workshops and panel discussions. Events are taking place at various locations including venue One Good Deed, a boat on the Thames and the 100 Club.
