TNS unveils Middle East Africa, and Asia Pacific tie-up

LONDON - TNS is continuing its restructuring plans by tying its Middle East and Africa operations into its Asia Pacific network.

From January 1 2006, TNS's nine offices in the Middle East and Africa, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and United Arab Emirates, will move from being part of its Southern Europe Latin America region to TNS Asia Pacific.

James Hall, TNS Asia Pacific regional managing director, will be responsible for the combined region, which has been renamed TNS Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

The division has been created to "better align the businesses with TNS' global and regional clients" and is part of ongoing restructure at the company, which recently saw the alignment of its Hong Kong and Singapore hubs.

According to Hall: "We are confident that the synergy within the newly expanded network will support the continued strong growth in customised research that we are experiencing across the combined region."

Stuart Campbell-Morris will continue to head the Middle East and Africa business and will represent the sub-region on the TNS Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa operating board.
