TNS says revenue growth in line with expectations

LONDON – Taylor Nelson Sofres said it expects full-year underlying revenue growth to be in line with expectations, despite weaker than expected performances in its UK and US custom research.

In a trading statement ahead of its interim results on September 5, TNS revealed that the company had seen good growth across most regions, but with weaker performance in custom research in the UK and US.

TNS said it aims to achieve a margin improvement of around 25 to 50 basis points for 2005.

Market information group TNS operates in more than 70 countries worldwide and employs around 14,000 full-time staff.

So far this year, the company has bought French media research agency Presse+ and launched 6th Dimension, a European online research panel service based on its established US model.
