Based in New York, Pellegrini will oversee all aspects of TNS research methods as well as developing new audience measurement applications with an emphasis on TV measurement.
With over 10 years of research experience, Pellegrini was chief designer on all BBM research projects before being promoted to vice president of the Canadian TV and radio research company.
In particular, he was tasked with the introduction and ongoing evaluation of the Personal Portable Meter, as well as developing relationships with international partners including TNS.
Pellegrini has also held senior positions at MapInfo Canada, the National Centre for Geographic Information and the Engineering Research Council of Canada.
George Shababb, chief operating officer at TNS Media Research, said Pellegrini's exceptional research experience will help develop the company's TV audience measurement.
"His knowledge and extensive background, will allow TNS Media Research to continue to innovate and develop measurement services that are relevant for today's TV realities," he said.
