TMW appointed as lead agency for Lever's Persil

LONDON – Lever Faberge has appointed Tullo Marshall Warren as its lead direct agency for its Persil brand following a three way pitch.

The agency won the business after a pitch against Proximity and Tequila London, which will continue to work on Persil's Aloe Vera range.

At the end of last month it was reported that Tequila London and TMW had been awarded the account jointly, ending Proximity's six-year relationship with the brand. However, Brand Republic has learned that TMW has won the whole of the main brand, Bio and Non Bio. TMW also handles Comfort fabric conditioner and Vaporesses ironing liquid.

The initial pitch was overseen by Dominic Traynor, Lever Faberge's relationship marketing manager in March.

Persil's advertising account is held by J. Walter Thompson, with media planning and buying through Initiative Media.
