TLRC axes two key posts to cut costs

The Local Radio Company (TLRC) has parted with its radio MD and the head of its live events division in a cost-cutting exercise designed to save £500,000 in a year.

Sally Oldham, a former group MD of Capital Radio and managing director of TLRC's radio division, has left.

She joined in March and said she was leaving after completing a six-month contract.

Last week saw the Enterprises Division, which staged outdoor concerts, scrapped after an annual loss of £250,000.

Simon Cooke, a board member who headed live events, has also left the company.
