
The new homepage will have greater focus on video and rich media, and is the latest Tiscali channel to be redesigned, following on from the TV guide and shopping channel.
A new channel-led navigation system offers greater accessibility across the different categories, while user-activated videos showcase highlights of video content across the site. Embedded video will be rolled out across the channels over the next few weeks.
The redesign was unveiled in time for Tiscali's partnership with the Raindance Film Festival, as the broadband company will be showing films free and live online every evening until 12 October.
The new portal will also offer more varied opportunities to advertisers in an attempt to further earn revenue from the homepage. New promotional tools available include pre-roll advertising on the video players and a selection of homepage takeover opportunities.
