Called Tiscali.plus, the new service bundles together a range of services more commonly marketed at the business sector, such as web building tools and online hosting, with other features of home computing such as anti-spam and parental controls.
The appointment of Strawberryfrog follows that of Zed, which was recently appointed to Tiscali's 拢8m online media account.
According to Strawberryfrog founder Brian Elliot, the campaign aims to promote the service as being easy to use and carries the slogan "Get care free, Get Tiscali.plus".
"Tiscali is all about empowering people and promoting equality through access to the internet. The Tiscali.plus 'care free' campaign builds on this by positioning the new service as fast and hassle free. It engages users in a memorable way that overcomes the everyday issues of getting and being online," he said.
The campaign, using viral promotion and online advertising, has launched in the Netherlands, where Strawberryfrog has an office, and launches across Europe and the UK this summer.
The viral campaign features four "carefree" characters -- a student, a parent, an office worker and "a funny uncle" -- who can be manipulated to dance and are designed to represent Tiscali's target audience.
By forwarding on the campaign players will receive secret dance moves by return email.
