Times produces second Online special working with BT

LONDON – The Times is building on its partnership with BT and has created a second Online special focusing on the outsourcing market.

The Outsourcing Special follows the success of Times Online's CRM Special. The Outsourcing Special is aimed at Times Online's business audience.

Last month, the Times launched an investor's centre in association with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers to provide an authoritative editorial guide to all aspects of investment.

The outsourcing guide, which can be found at , kicks off with two reports and will be built on each week with new articles, culminating in a fully comprehensive guide to what outsourcing can do for UK companies.

Following several years of increased competition and ever-decreasing profit margins, outsourcing is at the forefront of many board directors' minds as a potential key to success, providing an efficient resource and cost management solutions.

In a series of briefings and case studies, the Outsourcing Special gives advice on how to choose a provider and implement the process, how outsourcing can help a business pull ahead of its competitors and enhance performance levels, and how to maximise its benefits and avoid its pitfalls. The Outsourcing Special also contains an archive of recent articles on outsourcing written by journalists from The Times and The Sunday Times.

Mila Bhatkar of BT said: "A partnership with Times Online enables us to reach a key business audience, raise the outsourcing debate and showcase BT's credentials within the market."

The Outsourcing Special is supported by a comprehensive co-branded advertising campaign across Times Online, in a deal brokered on behalf of BT by i-level.

Charlie Hunter-Schyff, a planner buyer at i-level, said: "BT's partnership with Times Online has enabled BT to generate a brand response to an audience traditionally resistant to online advertising."
