Three's 'Downton Cabby' offers free rides in London

Three is sending a 1920s style taxi onto London's streets today (18 September) to mark the launch of the final series of television drama, Downton Abbey.

The telecommunications company has transformed a period vehicle into a taxi, and for one day only it will be offering free rides around the capital. 

The automobile, which has been used by the programme's top stars over the years, will come complete with a chauffeur dressed head-to-toe in 1920s attire. They will be on hand to welcome passengers as they hop into the vehicle throughout the day.

To experience a ride in the cab, members of the public will need to request its services by tweeting @ThreeUK with the hashtag #DowntownCabby and include information about their central London location.
