Three marks Australia Day with store stunt

Residents in the Clapham area of London yesterday (26 January) saw their local Three store turned upside down to mark Australia Day.

The mobile network brand celebrated the occasion by turning the usual Three logo on its head, and digital displays in the shop windows read the wrong way around.

The PR stunt was also conducted to highlight Three’s service where it allows customers to text, call and use the internet at no extra cost in Australia.

Richard Chomba, store manager at Three’s Clapham store, said: "We love to have a bit of fun in store and Australia Day seemed the perfect opportunity to do something a bit different and join the many celebrations happening in this area."

Three recently announced it was adding Spain and New Zealand to its Feel at Home service, which allows customers to use their phone abroad at no extra cost. using 650-plus beach umbrellas.
