Ice cream and cinema lovers rejoice! Ben & Jerry’s is treating visitors at selected Odeon, Vue and Empire cinemas to free ice cream next Tuesday, as part of its 37th annual Free Cone Day. The participating venues are displayed on an interactive map on the company’s website, with all its flavours available to try in the initiative, such as Phish Food and its latest variety Brownie Batter Core.

Thai beer brand Singha has teamed up with pop-up specialists Shuttlecock Inc to mark the country’s new year celebrations at a special event at Carousel London, from 14-15 April. The space will be transformed into an immersive experience inspired by the Songkran water festival - the name for the Thai New Year. It will recreate the sights and sounds of Thailand’s northern capital Chiang Mai, and will feature shops and bars, with street food available to munch on while traditional music will be played by DJs on the night.

Tequila brand Patrón is to launch a series of live events across Europe, starting in London next Thursday (14 April). The Art of Patrón concept will see guests enjoy live music, art and, of course, Patrón-based cocktails. Musical artists on the bill include DJ-singer/songwriter Neneh Cherry and electronic music specialist Darkstar. Events will also take place in Paris and Munich.
