The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Maze will launch on 27 March and has been six months in the planning. The two companies claim it is the world’s first jungle maze in which guests will be able to take part in ‘Bush Tucker Trials’ and will be able to experience life in the jungle through technology and special effects.
This will include multi-sensory ‘leg ticklers’ that simulate the feeling of being covered in bugs, a vibrating bridge walkway and moving trees and walls.
Those who enter the maze will be greeted by Ant and Dec via a recorded briefing, prior to navigating through tunnels, corridors and dark caves as well as participating in Bush Tucker Trials where they will try to earn gold stars.
The branded attraction’s Bush Tucker Trials will include ‘The Catacombs of Dooms’ and ‘The Chambers of Horror’, as well as the TV show’s celebrity cyclone finale where participants will face 56 mph winds.
The experience is also available for corporate events as part of team-building experiences.
Jennifer Connery, head of corporate events at Thorpe Park Resort, said: "We’re delighted to announce the launch of our exciting new team-building package ‘I’m A Delegate Get Me Out Of Here!’. Our incredible jungle maze is the perfect setting for this creative and innovative activity and is a perfect fit with our array of thrilling events at Thorpe Park."
