
Guests were invited to the Moon Court in Bluewater to experience the tastes, sights and sounds of Singapore. Thomas Cook brought Singaporean chefs Jeremy Cheok and Edward Yew to cook an authentic vol au vents-style dish filled with chicken or vegetable curry.
Visitors were also transported to Singapore via a virtual reality (VR) experience, which showcased some of the country's best sights, including China Town, Little India, and the Merlion Park. Voyagers could explore Singapore's Botanic Gardens, before ending up in the busy atmosphere of the famous food markets.
A 'garden room' had been set up, and gave guests a space to relax and enjoy a tranquil setting as they enjoyed the VR travel experience. Shoppers were able to take a selfie with one of the most photographed men in Singapore, Narajan Singh, who has been welcoming guests to the iconic Raffles hotel for 25 years.
