Air New Zealand's 'This Is How We Fly' pop-up will take place across two floors at Unit London Gallery, which will be split into distinct zones. Guests will be taken on an adventure that reflects the Air New Zealand inflight journey, with guests being ‘checked in’ as they arrive.
Once ‘on-board’ guests will become passengers, and will be whisked away on Air New Zealand’s London to Auckland route. Passengers can stopover in LA for a taste of the famous Californian beaches or carry on to Auckland to soak up the diverse New Zealand landscapes, experiencing two destinations.
Guests will also be able to experience Air New Zealand's Business Premier seats, which come with a memory foam mattress, duvet and pillows. Alongside it will be the innovative Economy Skycouch, which is ideal for for couples wanting to spread out or parents who need a play area for the kids, plus the new Premium Economy luxurious leather seat.
Visitors will enjoy fine food, inspired by the airline’s on-board menus designed by Peter Gordon and fellow Kiwi chef Michael Meredith, plus world-class New Zealand wines, entertainment and the latest innovations in seating technology.
The pop-up will also offer free Wi-Fi and an open working space.
Air New Zealand’s Jo Copestake, general manager UK, said: "We’re excited to open our doors to curious future flyers and give them the full Air New Zealand experience without the need to purchase a ticket. We are firm believers that a flight – even long haul - should be enjoyed rather than endured which is why we think Air New Zealand truly is a Better Way to Fly. People know Air New Zealand flies to Auckland but what they don’t always realise we also fly direct from London to LA."
