Thirlestane Castle in Berwickshire has brought in its first ever external firm to grow its events business.
The venue will work alongside Prestige Scotland, the Scottish catering division of Sodexo Prestige, to expand corporate and private events.
The contract sees two full-time employees, five part-time seasonal workers and 14 volunteers working on the project.
The Scottish castle dates back to at least the 13th century when a large border fort was built on the site to defend the approach to Edinburgh from the south.
