BBDO Bangkok has created a motorcycle helmet with GPS technology that kicks in when it detects an impact and calls for medical help to the rider's location.

BBDO Bangkok created the technology to help counter Thailand’s motorcycle accident problem – the country has the world’s second-highest number of crashes and 80% of fatalities happen on rural roads, in many cases when riders lose consciousness and can’t summon help. The tech was created for ThaiHealth’s Road Safety Project. A few hundred helmets were made and distributed initially and, in the next phase of production, riders can register online to receive more information about price and availability.
