Tetley has given its Tea Folk characters a new lease of life with its latest TV campaign. The spot is the first created for the brand by Creature, which won the account last year. In the ad, aliens invade the UK and terrorise the prime minister until the Tea Folk interrupt the standoff with their tea trolley. Satiated by the brew, the aliens appear to forget their plans of subjugating the earth’s population, and the spot ends with the line: "That’s better. That’s Tetley." It was created by Stu Outhwaite, Ed Warren and Ben Middleton, and was directed by Randy Krallman through Smuggler.
