Tesco TV unveils first instore advertising plasma screens

LONDON - The first part of the Tesco TV network has been installed with plasma screens fitted in two of Tesco's largest stores: Leeds Seacroft Extra and York Extra.

The move marks the start of a rollout of Tesco TV, which will be installed in 100 of the retailer's largest stores between now and the end of next month.

Tesco TV has created different retail zones and plans to show relevant content in each zone. Examples of programming include health and beauty tips, recipe ideas, information on healthy living and Tesco's Free From range for people with food allergies, news headlines and public information films.

JCDecaux has been appointed to handle ad sales for Tesco TV.
