Ten UK entries vying for new Digital Craft award at Cannes

The UK has taken ten entries on the shortlist for the inaugural Digital Craft category in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Bartle Bogle Hegarty London and Cheil UK were shortlisted for two categories each for their work on Samsung’s "Bedtime VR stories" and for The Royal Shakespeare Company and Samsung Electronics’ "The RE: Shakespeare app", respectively.

Other campaigns shortlisted were Nike Basketball’s "Nike rise 2.0 coach of coaches" by AKQA, Pernod Ricard’s "Ballantine’s Instanzine" by Havas Worldwide London, Google’s "Editions at Play", Strava’s "Strava insights" by Stink London, and Volvo Cars’ "Roam delivery" by OgilvyOne London.

The US dominates the category with 41 entries for Digital Craft, which was launched this year at Cannes. There were 97 total entries on the shortlist after 1,130 were submitted.
