Samsung "VR Stories" by Bartle Bogle Hegarty

Samsung has built a prototype virtual-reality set for absent parents to read bedtime stories to their children.

Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Unit9 were behind the VR headset, which combines a cardboard frame with a 360-degree video, played on a Samsung phone. Using the headset, children can hear their parent’s voice and see them as an avatar, alongside a host of characters and backdrops that bring the story (called "the most wonderful places to be") to life. The work was created by Martin Jon Adolfsson and Oksana Valentelis.
