The EPG will be available on channel 54 and features summaries of Freeview's 88 channels and services, and regional specific programming.
Viewers will be able to navigate the page with their remote controls and jump to the channel they want to watch, as well as planning their evenings in advance.
Teletext's technical director Gordon Maynard said: "We know from our analogue TV guides, which are among some of our most frequently viewed pages, that viewers want to plan their full evening's viewing rather than just selecting from what's on now and next.
"Viewers also want simple navigation from one main page. Our channel 54 service will provide all of this, plus it will be the only EPG on Freeview to offer full regional programme information, meaning viewers in each region will receive programme details specific to their area. "
The new digital terrestrial service from Teletext Holidays, the service's biggest operation, will offer viewers a selection of the best travel deals on channel 55.
Teletext Holidays, which already provides holiday offers on analogue terrestrial channels ITV, Channel 4 and Five, as well as , accounts for 40% of overseas late deals offered in the UK and Ireland and one in 10 holidays booked or sold in the UK.
As well as going direct to channels 54 and 55, viewers will also be able to access the service via Teletext's main page on channel nine, which provides regularly updated, national and regional news, sport, weather and cinema information.
Teletext recently moved its £6m media-planning and buying account to Aegis-owned network Vizeum. The agency beat ZenithOptimedia and John Ayling Associates, which pitched with i-level, to the account. Incumbent Manning Gottlieb OMD, which held the account since 1996, did not repitch.
