The deal will see the publication of supplements promoting Hong Kong, South Africa and Portugal as well as one for Australia, which appears in the Sunday Telegraph and in an issue of Travel & Trade Gazette to mark Australia Day today.
There is also a supplement sponsored by the airline Cathay Pacific and a series of advertorials from the cruise company Swan Hellenic. All the deals were secured by Kimberly Butler, strategic planner for the Telegraph Group's commercial development department.
The Daily Telegraph is also sponsoring Destinations 2004, the travel show at Earls Court from February 6-8 and in Birmingham from February 27-29 and will be distributing copies of the Hong Kong, Australian, French, Swan Hellenic and Cathay Pacific supplements at the London event. All travel supplements are reproduced online from the date of , supported by banners and buttons and then archived.
The supplements will appear between January and March this year.
The Telegraph Group continued with the restructure of its ad sales operation earlier this month by moving strategic planners into its ad sales teams.
