Telegraph and Costa team up for book promotion

LONDON - The Daily Telegraph is to distribute a series of free limited edition Jane Austen novels through selected Costa Coffee stores this weekend.

Readers will collect vouchers in the broadsheet newspaper and redeem their copies of the exclusive books at 180 Costa Coffee outlets across the UK.

The promotion, which launches in The Daily Telegraph on Saturday 3 March and ends the following Friday, includes six of Jane Austen's books: Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey and Sense and Sensibility. The books' covers will feature designs by illustrators including David Downton, Alan Baker and Bernie Reid.

The promotion also coincides with ITV's Jane Austen season, which will screen adaptations of Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion.
