Agency Ministry of Experience created the guerilla projections, which appeared in London on Big Ben's clock tower, Leicester Square, Kingly Street and Gerrard Street on 24 November. They show the film’s obnoxious title character Ted holding a graffiti spray can and painting his name onto walls.

Ted will also be appearing on buildings in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds this week before heading to Liverpool on 7 December and Glasgow on 8 December.

Ted was written by Seth MacFarlane, who created cartoons Family Guy and American Dad. The comedy film stars Mark Wahlberg as a man whose teddy bear came to life when he was a boy, and is now his foul-mouthed best friend.

The film was released on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download on 26 November.
