
The retailer will roll out a ‘click and collect’ service to all its 31 standalone stores in the UK.

Supermarket giant Tesco, which is increasingly focusing on its clothing ranges, is pursuing an aggressive ‘click and collect’ growth strategy as it looks to double the amount of its stores that offer the service by the end of the year.
Ted Baker hopes its service, which will deliver online purchases to the customer’s local store free of charge, will provide greater traction for its full collection.
Customers will be able to return unsuitable items free of charge for a full refund in-store, or via the retailer’s online returns system.
The retailer claims there will be a strong focus on communication, with the customer receiving an email at every step of the ordering process, from order and despatch confirmation, through to notification that the order is available for collection.
