Tebben takes over as Pizza Hut's most senior UK marketer

Pizza Hut's UK marketing chief Murray Willows is leaving his role to join parent company Yum! Restaurants International.

Chris Tebben, who is currently marketing director at Pizza Hut, will be promoted to the role of chief marketing officer when Willows leaves.

Willows was appointed to the job in December 2008, previously having worked at KFC South Africa. KFC is another restaurant in the Yum! stable, along with Taco Bell, which has just relaunched in the UK, and the US seafood restaurant chain, Long John Silver's.

Most recently, . Willows was also behind Pizza Hut's "complete night in" online marketing strategy, offering pizza and film-voucher deals.

A spokesperson for Pizza Hut said: "We can confirm that Murray will be leaving Pizza Hut UK after being offered a new role with our parent company, Yum! Restaurants International."

Willows' departure comes not long after his counterpart at rival Domino's, Robin Auld, decided to step down. Auld was replaced by Simon Wallis.
