Andre Coetzee, general manager of Taxi Media believes the medium is a “perfect way” for the company to promote its service as the cars “target people on the move and act as a prompt to action”.
118 188 offers a variety of directory services including train times and cinema listings as well as voice call and text inquiries.
Sam Bryant, associate director at Posterscope, said general awareness of 118118 was high but consumers “need prompting at times when they may need help in finding a number”.
She pointed out that the objective behind out-of-home is “to provide this prompt specifically to an urban, affluent 25-44 year old London audience”.
