Adams joins the executive team of the Cheltenham-based agency from direct marketing agency Red Tag in Cirencester, where he was business development director.
He brings with him a wealth of experience in digital, data and direct marketing after stints in marketing with Endsleigh Insurance and eight years with direct marketing agency Hamilton Wright, where he was part of the management buyout team.
This was followed by the launch of an internet-based knowledge management business for The Database Group in Bristol, with clients including Unilever, the AA and NatWest.
"I am developing new opportunities for the agency in the areas of data analysis, segmentation and profiling, and we are already under way with a major new project for the Stroud & Swindon Building Society," Adams said.
Target Marketing Communications' clients include Powergen, Specsavers, Avon Cosmetics, Pentel and GR Lane Health Products.
