Tango "#TangoMyLove" by 101

Tango returned to TV advertising after a two-year hiatus last Saturday with a campaign that set out to wrong-foot the audience.

The first ad showed two oranges hugging to harmonious music but, two ad breaks later, another spot aired featuring a Tango fan called Rodney Cloomb watching the first ad and getting irate. Clearly there is more to come from the campaign. The work, which launched during an episode of Britain’s Got Talent on ITV, is 101’s first for the brand since it won the account in August 2014. It was created by Jack Willoughby, Serhan Asim, Ryan Delehanty and Aurora Straton, and directed by Matthew Holness through Moxie Pictures.
